The Kalibo Santo Niño Ati-atihan Festival retains its position as one of the top 300 festivals around the globe, according to festival connoisseur Chip Conley and the international festival community

This is the only Philippine festival present in the internationally acclaimed list.

Everfest, the creators of the FEST300 list, mentioned the Ati-atihan Festival’s historical significance as it depicts the story of the Philippines’ first real estate deal and applauded the festival for being ‘colorful beyond comprehension,’ giving it a recommendation rating of 4.5 out of 5 rating in their website.

The Everfest community first included the Ati-atihan Festival in the annual list back in 2013, and the festival consecutively maintained the title from 2016 to 2021.

Following this feat, the Sangguniang Bayan of Kalibo passed Resolution No. 2021-847 which expresses gratitude to the Everfest community for consistently including the Ati-atihan Festival in the FEST300 since 2016, sponsored by Hon. Phillip Yerro Kimpo, the Chairman of the Committee of Tourism.
