Opened on the 22nd day of May 2020, Nomad Coffee KLO wasn't hindered by the pandemic and opened its doors to the public. Students and young professionals flock to the cafe to study or work, enjoying the minimalist vibe the place has to offer and of course, the array of coffees they serve.

Jones Morales, the owner of the cafe, is a nurse and professional barista who has a love for coffee and travel. He mentioned that he named the place "Nomad" due to the fact he loved to travel and visit coffee shops in the area first.

He keeps the menu minimal to keep the quality of his products, serving snacks in the likes of grilled cheese, pastas, brownies, etc. As for the coffee, he has his own roaster that makes his house blend coffee beans to assure the best quality for his customers.

Nomad Coffee KLO is located at 0607 F. Quimpo St., corner Rizal St., Brgy. Poblacion, Kalibo, Aklan and is open from 9AM-6PM.

Deja Cafe

Déjà vu is the feeling of having seen something or someone before. And — as the name suggests — Deja Cafe will give you something to remember it by.

Established in December 2021 by Brett Campell, Jomar Decastillo, and Mary Joy Mendoza, the cafe paints the Kalibo landscape in neutral shades, coated in a suave, urban feel that thrives on minimalism… and a surplus of deer.

The interior and exterior designs were intended to capture "city feels", which can add some debonair flair to your Instagram feed. All that thanks to designer Eric Juanco Mendoza.

On the other hand, the deer emblem comes from the Patronus charm of Professor Snape in Harry Potter, a symbol many potterheads can appreciate, much like the owner himself.

Their coffee is brewed from fresh grinded beans that pair with their signature crème. Along with this, they offer Italian/Filipino/Asian Fusion dishes for the satisfaction of their customers, who are usually students and professionals that find delight in "good food, coffee, and long talks".

These include their Marlin Steak, carrot cheese cake, Italian pasta, pizza, and tuna sandwich. Don't miss out on their Mocha, Caramel, and Deja Creme Iced coffee — their proud best three!

Deja Cafe can be found in Roxas Ave, cor Mabini Street, tucked away behind Petron Gas Station.

Nineteenth Street Cafe

With all the up and coming gimmicks that businesses are using these days, finding one that suits your tastes is not really that easy anymore. The Nineteenth Street Café has two unique venues that can be used by the general public, which is their coffee shop on the ground floor, as well as cater to private events should you wish to in their Roof Deck located at the top of the hotel. The name itself was inspired by the location of the café, which pays homage to Kalibonhon ancestors.

It certainly adds pizzazz to the whole ambiance of the place, because from either place, you can easily see the rich culture of the town should you gaze outside as you sip your favorite concoction.

They serve a diversity of food and drinks, which are locally sourced, with their best sellers being their coffee, tea, pastas, milkshakes, and sandwiches. They also do limited holiday themed drinks like for Valentine’s Day and Christmas.

You can reach them via their Facebook account, Nineteenth Street Café, as they do deliveries as well.
