Coinciding with Vice President Leni Robredo's proclamation rally in Naga City, shades of pink filled the province of Aklan as Leni-Kiko supporters came together for an Aklan-wide campaign kick off caravan, Feb. 8.

In a tweet posted by Alec Julian Templonuevo, the kick off in Kalibo started with a mass where Robredo-Pangilinan supporters gathered at St. John the Baptist Cathedral courtyard to offer a short prayer for their candidates.

After the Mass, the caravan started off in front of the Cathedral with cyclists, tricycle drivers, and private vehicles joining in with the course that is set to go around the municipality that went on despite small rain showers.

Aklanons also prepared in front of the Cathedral for the nationwide noise barrage that was set to go off at 12:00 nn.

Meanwhile, the white sands of Boracay turned pink as the Boracay Para Kay Leni Volunteer group celebrated a Pink Festival with supporters carrying out a zumba and Ati-Atihan Band.

Furthermore, other municipalities also conducted mini-caravans, recorridas, palengke tours, community tarpaulin posting, candle-lighting, and Holy Masses.
