Aklanon Artist Showcases His Creativity by Turning Denim Into A Masterpiece.

 by Harvey Quime

Angelo Zarsuelo exhibited his denim art called "Under the Blue Sky," which was made entirely of fashion waste.

"Fast fashion is one of the world's greatest contributors of pollution and waste. While there are ways of recycling and reusing these items thru donations and hand-me-downs. What will happen to the items that are no longer in good condition and unwearable?" Zarsuelo said in his Facebook post.

Zarsuelo’s inspiration behind creating the piece is his aim of giving fashion waste new life and turning it into art. His piece wants to remind younger generations to be environmentally conscious because Earth is not only our planet but it is also our home.
