3 people were injured as two motorcycles collided in an accident yesterday, October 15, around 1:20 p.m. along Brgy. Linayasan, Altavas, Aklan.
The victims were Jimmy Jontilla, 35, and his back rider Genelyn Gervacio, 47, who were residents in the area. Meanwhile, the driver of the other motorcycle was Raniel Gregorio, 21, is a resident of Brgy. Odiong, Altavas.
According to Altavas PNP initial reports, Jontilla and Gervacio were headed to Kalibo while Gregorio was speeding through the blind spot of the road, unfortunately, it hit Jontilla and both motorcycles crashed into each other.
The 3 were rushed to Altavas Hospital, Jontilla and Gervacio only obtained minor wounds meanwhile Gregorio acquired a head injury and remained confined in the hospital.
