The Digital Farmers Program (DFP) was a three-day training program spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute VI that aspired to provide information with the usage of Information and Communication Technology that may guide the farmer for the marketability of their agricultural products.
The first batch of the said program started on September 14 and ended on September 16 at Bee Bee Lodge, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan. The second batch, however, happened at ATI Training Hall ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan on September 21-23, 2022.
The training program was attended by numerous people and organizations such as Learning Site (LS) Cooperators and Trainers, and the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWS).

The events consisted of several activities and workshops that mostly tackled the significance and use of DFP 101 e-learning course, poster-making by using a graphic design platform, Canva, Social Media Market Planning, and Demo-back presentation.
The representative of Agdahon Agriventures farm in Capiz, Jhon Michael B. Asong, expressed that the purpose of the Digital Farmers Program was mainly to impart knowledge that will not just solely focus on crop production but also to share with the farmers the new technologies that may help with the production of agricultural goods.

He also stated how they are trying to persuade the farmers with the usage of new technologies in farming. "To tell you the truth, they discouraged the usage of such especially those who are old age. We need to change their perspective,” He said.
During the closing program, the trainees that showed exemplary in the above-mentioned activities were given merit. And after the training, the newly digitally trained were expected to embrace the DFM at the farming level in their hometown and serve as the ICT guides for the farmers to improve the service delivery by using the Information and Communication (ICT) Tools.
