Former Makato Mayor Abencio Torres passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest according to his close friends.
"Saturday afternoon, when ate Kata messaged me and nang Nelfe about this news, we were devastated and shocked. For their family's privacy and for respect, we kept it within ourselves," Geianne Arrah Tejada, Tugas, Makato SK Chairman stated in her Facebook post.
To recall, Torres won as the Vice Mayor of Makato during the recent election serving the town for 3 terms as incumbent Mayor after gaining huge acknowledgement from the province.
