Bringing back the hip-hop scene in Aklan, Aklanon local talents to gather as JCI Aklan Kalantiao hold the first Aklan Kulture Movement Exposé (AKmé) in collaboration with businesses and other artists in the province, Dec. 9–10 at the NVC Gym.
The two-day event of the Aklanon hip-hop community will be featuring local hit cultures such as fashion, music, visual arts, B-boying through spoken word poetry, hip-hop kaligrafie, dance classes, choreography classes, hip-hop performances, and a clothing line convention.
Moreover, they will be hosting friendly competitions and games such as dance battles, sketch battles, sticker trades, the game of skate, and fixed-gear mini-games among many others.
This event is organized to raise funds for the students of CARLA ATI SCHOOL in Malay, Aklan as well as to uphold the advocacy of #UNSDG in promoting youth involvement in the arts in hopes of raising social awareness to combat crime and violence.
