A netizen gifts his girlfriend of 8 years a plot of land, measuring above 6000 square meters, under her name.
Christopher Villanueva purchased the lot for his girlfriend, Danica Misterio, who chose humble sentimentality over a lavish romantic display.
According to him, she said no to a luxurious dinner and an elaborate wedding ceremony, in exchange for a simpler and more intimate arrangement.
Villanueva wrote in a Facebook post:
"So I bought her a 6000+ sq. m. lot under her name in Camotes Island near the upcoming airport. [I] used my personal savings I prepared supposedly for the wedding because I know she knew that this is a good investment.
